The Privacy Mesh

What your organization sees, and what stays yours
When your Baryon is just yours, everything you share lives with you and shapes the coaching you get back. This is about the moment that changes: when you are part of a team, and your energy rolls up into a Team Resonance Insight your leadership reads. The Privacy Mesh governs that moment.
People tell their Baryon real things. A parent in decline. A relationship ending. A diagnosis they have not mentioned at work. Money pressure that explains why the last three weeks felt heavy. That kind of context is what turns a generic nudge into something that actually helps.
It is also exactly the context that must never reach a manager.
So an honest version of this product has to hold two ideas that sound like they cannot both be true. Contributors who share freely. Team Resonance Insights that are genuinely useful to leadership. The Privacy Mesh is how both stay true at the same time.
Why a mesh
A wall is the easy answer, and the wrong one. Block everything personal and the Team Resonance loses the signal that made it worth reading. You are left with a dashboard of vague positivity that no leader trusts and no leader acts on.
A mesh is sized. It is built to let one specific thing through and hold another back.
What passes through to leadership: energy levels and their direction over time. Professional wins, blockers, and recurring patterns of work. Team-level distributions and participation. Your written narrative and what stood out in your week, expressed as team-scale patterns rather than personal ones.
What stays at the individual level: the personal cause behind any of those numbers. Health, family, parenting, finances, therapy, grief, legal matters. Any detail that identifies who you are.
The first list is the whole value of Team Resonance Insights. The second list never enters it.
The part worth understanding
Here is the distinction, where most privacy claims in AI products quietly fail.
Asking a model to withhold something it can see is a policy. Never giving it the information is an architecture.
The personal content is removed before the Team Resonance Insight is written. Not left in place with a polite request to please ignore it. A model cannot disclose what was never placed in front of it. That is why we describe this as a structural design rather than a best effort.
When your individual Insight is generated, the full picture belongs there, with you. Before anything at the team level is written, personal content is structurally removed, so that the model writing the Team Resonance Insight is never handed it. The Team Resonance is written under a firm boundary: effects on work may be described, personal causes may not. No name appears. No phrasing that would point to one person. If a signal can only be explained by personal context, it is left out rather than dressed up.
What leadership actually receives
Team Resonance Insights reach only the owner, admin, and observer roles, and they are built from aggregates. How much of the team is engaging. Where the team's energy sits and which way it is moving. How people are spread across energy bands, in buckets rather than names. Patterns observed across a team or function. Professional wins with names stripped.
Insights roll upward through the organization, and each level is built from the summaries beneath it rather than from raw individual Insights. The further up it sits, the more aggregated its inputs already were.
Where the boundary sits
Two honest notes, because a privacy claim that overreaches is worse than one that is precise.
Effects are visible by design. If a personal crisis pulls your energy down, that decline does reach the Team Resonance as a number, and it may surface as something worth attention. The cause does not travel with it. This is intended. A coaching relationship that cannot see strain cannot respond to it. It is still a real boundary, and we would rather name it than let you discover it.
Small teams deserve caution. Aggregation protects people in proportion to how many people it aggregates. In a very small team, aggregate numbers narrow toward individuals no matter how carefully the words are chosen. Group size is worth deciding on purpose at setup.
The short version
Your Baryon is yours. What you tell it about your life shapes the coaching you get back. What your leadership sees is the shape of the team's energy, never the contents of your life.
