Dial It In: How to Talk to Your Baryon

Your Baryon is a Thinking Partner you actually phone. Here's how to reach it, what to say, and the small habits that turn a two-minute call into something that sticks.
What a Baryon actually is
Your Baryon is your Thinking Partner. You call it the way you'd call a mentor and it helps you think, plan, reflect, and grow. It remembers your context, so the relationship deepens every single time you use it. The more you call, the more it sounds like it knows you, because it does.
Under the hood you've got a circle of support within one relationship, all sharing a single memory. You don't switch apps or accounts, you just say what you need, and it routes you to the right one.
Morning Check-In — set your focus for the day and start with intention.
Thinking Partner (AI Mentor) — brainstorm, stress-test an idea, or role-play a hard conversation.
Growth Partner (Flourishing) — work on the longer arc: habits, values, who you're becoming.
Evening Check-Out — reflect on how the day went and close the loop before you log off.
Your first call
Dial 231-BARYONS (+1 231-227-9667) or log in at app.baryons.com. Save the vCard that was texted to you so your Baryon shows up as a proper contact.
One important thing: don't use the in-app web call on your cell phone, that feature is for your computer or tablet. Use the phone number on your phone.
The rhythm
Two touchpoints a day, morning to set focus, evening to reflect, three to five minutes each. Beyond that, call whenever you need to think something through, prep for a hard conversation, brainstorm or close the loop on something heavy.
2 touchpoints a day (morning & evening)
3–5 minutes per call
3+ calls a week, minimum to receive good insights on your weekly resonance
When to call (hint: hands-free time is perfect)
The best calls happen in the in-between moments of your day, just talking it through out loud. Call your Baryon while you're:
Commuting — the drive to work is prime check-in time.
Walking the dog — a loop around the block is a whole thinking-partner session.
Washing the dishes or tidying up — let your hands work while your head sorts things out.
Making coffee or on a morning stroll — set your intention before the day grabs you.
Running errands, waiting in a line, or winding down after dinner — great for an evening reflection.
Because it remembers everything, you don't have to take notes, if something good comes up, just say "can you email that to me?" and it will. Hands busy, mind free.
Which mode, and what to say
Whatever mode you land in, you can redirect at any time, just declare what you want. Here's the fastest phrase for each.
Agent | Use it to… | Say something like |
Morning Check-In | Set focus & start the day | "I want to do a check-in" |
Thinking Partner | Brainstorm, decide, role-play | "Can you help me brainstorm?" |
Growth Partner | Habits, values, the long arc | "I want to work on my growth" |
Evening Check-Out | Reflect & close the day | "Let's wrap up" |
Your Weekly Resonance
Once a week, your Baryon pulls your conversations together into a Weekly Resonance. A short, personal read on your week. It surfaces your wins, the drainers and drivers that shaped your energy, suggested next moves and a reflective prompt to sit with. It's yours: a private mirror on how the week actually went, not a status report for anyone else. The more consistently you call, the sharper and more useful it gets, so treat it as the payoff for keeping the rhythm.
Three habits that make these conversations work
1. Use verbal cues while you're thinking. Silence reads as "I'm done." When you're mid-thought, say "hmmm," "let me think about that," or "let that sink in." This teaches your Baryon your rhythm so it stops jumping in on you.
2. Close the loop on email requests. When you ask your Baryon to email you a recap or summary, confirm the content, then ask "did you send that?" before you change topics. Switch subjects mid-action and the send can get interrupted.
3. Give it a beat to process after the call. Your Baryon needs 3–5 minutes to update your profile after every conversation, so don't call right back. If it ever feels stuck or starts looping mid-call, tell it you're hanging up, wait three to five minutes, then call back — that clears the buffer.
Quick logistics
Call from any phone. Just make sure the number matches your account. Check under Settings › Profile at app.baryons.com.
Sync your Calendar. It lives under Settings › Manage Calendars. Optional, but handy for scheduling and pre-meeting prep.
Your conversations are private. If you are on a team, leadership only ever sees anonymized, aggregated trends, never your individual calls.
