We’re looking for a Web Developer / Front-End Engineer who brings strong React expertise and a design-minded approach to help shape our web experiences — from interactive dashboards to mobile-responsive mentor interfaces — ensuring they’re as beautiful as they are intelligent.

Role Overview

As a Front-End Engineer at Baryons, you’ll lead the implementation of high-impact, responsive web applications that connect users with their AI mentors, dashboards, and experiences. You’ll work primarily in React.js, integrating with our Python-based APIs, and collaborating with design and AI teams to build interfaces that feel intuitive, emotional, and alive.

You’ll help define front-end architecture, establish reusable component systems, and ensure every interaction — from mobile gestures to animations — feels polished and purposeful.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js, TypeScript, and modern React patterns.
  
  

• Collaborate with backend and AI teams to integrate REST and GraphQL APIs.
  
  

• Design and implement component-based UI architecture for maintainability and scalability.
  
  

• Create visually engaging, interactive interfaces using Tailwind CSS, Framer Motion, or similar libraries.
  
  

• Optimize pages for performance, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness across browsers and devices.
  
  

• Implement design systems and reusable components, working closely with UX designers.
  
  

• Collaborate on front-end build pipelines and deployments via GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools.
  
  

• Work with visualization libraries (Recharts, Chart.js, or D3) to display insight-driven data beautifully.
  
  

• Troubleshoot, debug, and refine front-end features through iterative testing and feedback.

  
  

• Contribute to the overall user experience, ensuring every interaction supports Baryons’ goal of meaningful, human-centered connection.
  
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of front-end development experience in React.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  
  

• Expertise in responsive design, advanced CSS, and frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
  
  

• Experience with API integration and data fetching from REST or GraphQL endpoints.
  
  

• Proficiency in React Hooks, Context API, and modern state management patterns.
  
  

• Understanding of UI performance optimization, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  
  

• Familiarity with Git workflows, code reviews, and collaborative development.
  
  

• Ability to translate design prototypes (Figma, Adobe XD) into production-quality interfaces.
  
  

• Strong sense of design quality and user empathy — pixel perfection meets usability.
  
  
  

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Python (FastAPI or Flask) integration or general backend familiarity.
  
  

• Understanding of Next.js for server-side rendering and routing optimization.
  
  

• Knowledge of Framer Motion or similar animation frameworks.
  
  

• Familiarity with data visualization (Recharts, Chart.js, or D3).
  
  

• Experience with responsive dashboards, PWA development, or mobile-first UX.
  
  

• Exposure to AI-driven interfaces or applications powered by LLMs or LangChain APIs.
  
  

• Experience with feature flagging, A/B testing, or remote configuration systems.
  
  

• Interest in human-centered technology and how design and intelligence intersect.
